PCTE Group of Institutes, Department of Hotel & Tourism Management is organizing a Webinar on 15th Sept. 2020 “Planning Career in Digital Age & Post COVID-19” The expert talk will be delivered by hospitality legend & educationist Dr Sudhir Andrews. 

 

Dr. Sudhir Andrews is an alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad. He worked as Corporate Head in Human Resources of the Oberoi Hotels and also as Director set up the Oberoi Hotel School (now referred to as OCLD). He, later on, worked as Principal of Institute of Hotel Management and Catering Technology, Pusa, Delhi. He moved to Dubai to serve as Director HR of a prestigious Hotel Chain, Group Vice President HR for a multinational Arab company. He also set-up the first Arab Hotel School in UAE in collaboration with Hotel School Montreaux, Switzerland. He also worked as Dean of the Hospitality School at IIMT Oxford Brookes, Gurgaon for a year. He has been conferred as Doctor of Literature (Honoris Causa) by the Open International University (promoted by WHO, UN) based in Colombo, Sri Lanka, for his contributions to education and merits of excellence in South Asia. His name was nominated by The Economic Growth Society of India & author of more than 11 Hospitality books published by Tata-Mc Graw-Hill. For his contribution to the hospitality education in India, he has received a number of awards such as

 

• Rashtriya Gaurav Award (2010)
• Rajiv Gandhi Award for Excellence for 2010
• All India Business & Community Award for Educational Excellence, 2010
• Sri Ram Award for “Best Management Thought-1986” presented by the President of India.
