Dear All,
Makerere University Business School (MUBS) - the premier Business School in Uganda, engaged in a wide range of academic and professional programmes - through the ICT Centre, conducts research, consultancy and training in ICT with a view of exploring how and what technologies Uganda and other developing economies may adopt and/or adapt as a catalyst for positive change.
To do this, MUBS has partnered with the International Centre for Information Technology and Development (ICITD), USA to organize the 4th Annual International Conference on ICT for Africa under the theme “Africa’s E-Inclusion: Defying the Odds and Leading the Way in Global ICT Innovation” that will take place between 21-24th March 2012. The past conferences which were held in Cameroon and Nigeria attracted scholars and practitioners internationally.
The Conference targets scholars, practitioners, and users of ICT. This includes researchers (both undergraduate and postgraduate), young ICT entrepreneurs, developers of mobile and cloud applications, software developers, IT professionals, policy makers and users of ICT in various fields.
The Conference is expected to attract over 400 participants and exhibitors daily for three days of the conference.
There will be an opportunity to exhibit selected innovative ICT initiatives for free at the conference. If you would like to participate in this, please email me directly or:
olu...@mubs.ac.ug - as soon as possible.
You can find out more information about the conference on
