2022-2023学年捐款倡议
亲爱的会员们、朋友们和关心中文学校发展的有识之士：
受到新冠病毒COVID-19影响的两年多以来， 中文学校不得不转入ZOOM网络教学。今年新学期开始，学校应广大家长的要求，又回到了实体课堂，为匹兹堡广大华人和社区的孩子们提供高质量的中文和中华文化教育！70多名教师、助教和校务人员迅速调整了从网课到实体课的教学方式转变，使近300名学生在教师们的谆谆教诲下，学有所乐，学有所长。每位教职工的努力，每位家长的认可，都是学校不断发展的动力。
为了感谢教师们的辛勤付出，奖励学生们持之以恒的学习，以及支持中文学校的持续发展，欢迎您踊跃参加中文学校一年一度的捐款活动，伸出捐助之手，奉献一片爱心。和其他学校财务一样，此次捐款明细将由中文学校董事会的13名董事实时监督，并将及时向社会公布捐款情况。捐款总额和捐款人的名字（事先得到捐款人同意的情况下）也将在中文学校的网站上公布。在今年的预算中，学校捐款部分将用来奖励学生和教师们，支持教师培训和补助春节晚会、夏季野餐等各项校内活动。您也可以指定自己的捐款用途。
捐款达到或超过$50.00的捐款人将有机会得到一件印有“匹兹堡中文学校”和Logo的Tshirt以留作纪念。捐款人还可以得到一张中文学校会员卡，用此卡在匹兹堡中国杂货店和餐馆可以享受至少5%的折扣优惠。所以，您捐款时请署名，并留下您的电话号码和家庭住址以便于和您联系。谢谢您的慷慨捐助！

2022-2023 PCS DONATION INITIATION
Dear members, friends, and sponsors：
It is over 2 years since Pittsburgh Chinese School (PCS) switched to on-line because of Covid19. This year, in response to parents request, our school returns to Taylor Allderdice High School to continuously provide high-quality learning of Chinese language and culture for big Pittsburgh communities. Over 70 teachers, teacher assistants, and management personnel have made a quick transition from online to in- person classes. About 300 students have enjoyed the face to face didactics, and made excellent progress. Every teacher’s effort, every parent’s favorite is our school’s motivation to be better.
Now welcome everyone to join the PCS annual donation initiation! Your donation will be used for bonuses and rewards to our teachers and students, for teachers’ training, and for supporting routine activities of our school. You can also specify the use for your donation. The donation details, like other financial details of the PCS, will be monitored by the 13 members of the PCS Board. Total amount of donations and names of the donors, upon permission, will be published and posted on the PCS website.
For any donation with $50.00 or more, the donor shall have the opportunity to receive a T-shirt imprinted with “Pittsburgh Chinese School” and the logo. Each donor may also receive a PCS membership card, which allows you to be eligible for a minimal 5% discount when shopping in the local Chinese grocery stores or dinning in the local Chinese restaurants. Therefore, when you make your donation, please provide your name, phone number, and home address. Thank you for your generosity!
You can choose any of the following options for donation:
· Donate when you register your child for the 2023 Spring semester. Please pay attention to the check box of donation.
· PayPal: pcs20...@gmail.com (please provide your name, phone number, and home address).
· Make a check payable to PCSEFI, and addressed to: PCSEFI, P.O. Box 383, Wexford, PA 15090-0383.
All donations are tax deductible (IRS EIN #25-1811018). PCS will provide donors with written acknowledgement to substantiate a charitable contribution of $250 or more. For a charitable contribution of less than $250, PCS will provide the written acknowledgement only upon request.
