PCS notice of online learning - Immediate actions required!

各位中文学校会员，
大家好！由于疫情的影响， 中文学校至今还没有收到匹兹堡公立学校关于批准校园租赁的通知。学校董事会因此根据计划启动网络授课的预案。 请各位关注以下从实体课改为网课的变化并根据自己的情况尽快采取相应的行动。
1) 文体课转网课的调整
取消的课程：中国民族舞，跳绳， 功夫（8岁以下的）， 乒乓球，唱游班， 羽毛球
增加的课程：中国象棋， 幼儿诗歌
如果您注册了以上取消的课程，请不迟于9/1/2021 进入注册系统改选其他文体课。或者电邮 regist...@pittsburgh-chinese-school.org 提交您的换课请求。请在电邮主题处标注“换课请求”， 电邮内容请包括您学生的中英文姓名， 现注册课程名及新课程名。
网络授课局限了文体课的设置，中文学校将继续努力寻找各个文化领域的专长人士，有心的网络文体课开通，我们会立即通知大家。
2) 学费调整
学费下调20% 从$254 到$203。注册费及其他费用不变。 新学费已经在系统里更新。
如果您还没有注册， 您可以继续去网站注册。 https://www.pittsburgh-chinese-school.org/registration_docs.
如果您已经注册还没有付费，请按更新后的费用付款。
如果您已经注册并付费，我们会将多余的付款credit到您的账号并发送通知到您的邮箱。
如果您希望多余的付款被退还，请将收到的credit通知转发到regist...@pittsburgh-chinese-school.org 作为退款请求。我们会在秋季入学注册工作完成后大约10月份来处理您的请求。
3) 取消注册。
想取消注册的家长, 您需要在9/1/2021之前做以下操作。
如果您还没有付费， 可以直接进到系统里删除您的注册。
如果已经付费， 请电邮regist...@pittsburgh-chinese-school.org 提交您的注册取消请求。 邮件主题标注“取消注册”， 提供学生中英文名字，及注册班级。 我们会void 您的支票或者通过支票/PaPal退还您通过PayPal 支付的款项 （您付的PayPal手续费可能non-refundable，取决于PayPal的policy）。
可能有些学生和家庭因各种原因不方便上网课，不管您是否取消注册，我们都理解并尊重您的决定。

Dear PCS Members,
Due to the COVID situation , PCS has not received affirmative answer from Pittsburgh Public Schools for lease of the campus as of today. As such the PCS Board determined to implement the backup plan to go online for the Fall semester. Please note the following changes that may require your immediate actions.
1) Changes made to the culture classes offered.
Classes Removed: Dance 1 (Chinese dance), Jump Rope , Kongfu (age under 9), Pingpong, Singing1, Badminton1
Classes Added: Chinese Chess , Poem
Actions required by Sep 1, 2021: Please go to our website and log in to change your students’ registration if they were registered for the culture classes that are removed.
You can also email your request to regist...@pittsburgh-chinese-school.org with subject “ Class change request”. Please include your student’s English and Chinese name, current registered class name and the class you want to change to in your email.
Online learning limits the offer of culture classes. PCS will continue looking for professionals in various areas to offer additional online culture classes if possible. We will inform you as soon as the classes are available.
2) Tuition adjustment .
Tuition is reduced 20% from $254 to $203. No changes on registration fee and the tuition of culture class only . New tuition has been updated in the registration system.
If you have not registered yet, you can still register at https://www.pittsburgh-chinese-school.org/registration_docs.
If you have registered and have not made the payment yet, please pay the amount after the tuition adjustment.
If you have registered and have made the payment, we will credit the reduced tuition to your account. You will receive a credit notice from us. NO Action is required from you .
Action Required : If you would like cash your credit, please forward the credit notice email to Regis...@pittsburgh-Chinese-school.org and state your request. We will handle your request in beginning of October after all registration for Fall semester is finalized.
3) Registration cancellation
For those who would like to cancel the registration , please take the following actions by Sep 1, 2021.
If you have not made your payment yet, please go to our website and log in to delete your registration.
If you have made your payment , please email Regist...@pittsburgh-Chinese-school.org with the subject of “ Cancel registration”. Please include your student(s)’ English and Chinese Name and classes that have registered. We will void your check or return your payment if it was paid via PayPal (return or not on the processing fee you paid via papal is subject to PayPal's policy).
We certainly understand that online classes may not be suitable for all students and families, whatever decision you made will be fully understood and respected.
