Hi!

I'm a third-year postdoc moving out of my DC apartment located in Woodley Park directly across from the zoo entrance (building is Cathedral Park, 3100 Connecticut Ave NW). It's a beautiful, quiet, and safe neighborhood that is an 8min walk to the red line metro to get to NIH. I rent directly from the owner of the unit. She is very responsive in case of an emergency. It's a huge, 975sqft 1 bedroom apartment with a den (den can act as a second bedroom or in-home office). $1,800/mo, laundry is free on the floor, you pay electric separately. Street parking is available in the area, or you can rent a spot from a neighboring lot. This is an absurd deal on rent... you won't find anything close to this!! 

It would be a 1yr lease with the owner beginning Dec 1, with options to extend each year. I'm moving out on Nov 19 so someone could move in as early as Nov 20 if they wanted.
