CD contents not shown

Hello All,
Im using widows 7 and when i insert a cd in the drive, an autorun
window pops up saying do want to burn the empty cd. The cd has
contents and its shows as empty. The property window too shows 700mb
free space but the cd has contents in it. dvd works correctly only cd
doesnt show up any contents. Please help

Hello,
I have a HP Compaq laptop. Whenever i insert a cd into it autoplay
pops up which has no options to read contents it says how do you want
to burn the cd. When i cancel that and explore the contents it shows
only one desktop.ini file to burn when i delete the file it shows
nothing in it. The property dialog box also shows the entire cd as
empty. This doesnt happen with dvd im able to read the dvd contents.
Only for the CD it shows empty. Please help me.

It sounds like you may have a bad cd, or whatever is on it is not
compatible with windows so it doesnt read it.
