tube tv on mac to slow even when loaded

just got an imac g4 and put a program called tube tv on it. its a program that will let you view you tube videos on your mac with out problems. the problem is that the videos are very sluggish even more then it should with this program. the program can be a little sluggish normally but hardly noticeable. the thing i'm trying to say is that i need a little help with getting this program to speed up.
