One of the changes mentioned in the NEWS is that ARMv5 has been dropped from JIT, but it's still mentioned by pcre2jit(3) as a supported platform, I guess it's just a minor documentation bug? https://github.com/PCRE2Project/pcre2/blob/master/doc/pcre2jit.3

Another question: is pcre.org still updated? It still mentions 10.39 as the latest version, and the hosted HTML versions of the PCRE man pages are quite outdated. Unfortunately, they still rank pretty high on search engines...

Yes, that must be a documentation bug. Thanks for noticing. I will fix it (for the future). I noticed how out of date pcre.org is a few weeks ago and I emailed the webmaster twice (once to his personal address) but I have had no reply.
