HI everyone,

just wanted to keep you in the loop about the review of Vic PCP Networks since our November combined meeting.

Viv and I had a teleconference with the IHP Network representatives and Susan Rennie earlier this week. It was agreed that we would draft a short survey together for all PCP staff (including those that don't attend Network meetings) to find out what their support, information and networking needs are to assist with planning for the future of the VIC PCP Networks. This is part of a broader review that has been discussed at EO and Chair level over the past 6 months and has been welcomed by the ICDM network.

As a result, we hope this survey will go out in December (and be returned before Xmas). Therefore, we will not be sending another specific SC/ICDM survey as was done last year. I would like to encourage everyone to participate in this Review Survey so we get a good understanding of what your needs are.

As the results will not be known until probably February (given the Xmas break), the ICDM and SC secretariats have decided to postpone our usual December planning meeting until 3 February, with the aim of having our first Network meeting on Wednesday 9 March. Whether this is a combined or single network meeting has not been decided as yet. We will discuss this in February. We will book a room at DHHS in Lonsdale Street if possible for this meeting. So please keep an eye on your emails for updates and further information.

Please don't hesitate to contact any of the Secretariat members if you have any questions or concerns - Viv Jeffrey, Kylie O'Neill, Donna Bridge, Helen O'Regan-Tabart, Di Berryman, Emily Buchanan or myself.

Kind Regards
