What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Reboot the system
2. Execute pcmanx-gtk2 program
3. Alt-Q to connect to ptt.cc

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The cairo caret becomes invisible at first time.
If closing the existing connection and opening another connection, it will
become normal.
