Introduction to the Conference: National Bureau of Economic
Research reports that the economy has been in
recovery since June 2009 and executives report an
accelerating pace of change in an increasingly
competitive business environment - driven by
knowledge, information trends and the forces of
globalization. The world is screaming for innovation,
and for companies to capitalize on the resources, they
already have to spark the next possibilities. Continuing
to look ahead at 2012 and beyond, we need to turn
attention to the trends evolving across the world that
will affect the global business over the coming years.
These trends will be the focus of research efforts over
the coming years as we innovate new ways to turn
them into strategic advantage. Based on these
considerations Punjab Commerce and Management
Association in collaboration with Khalsa College
Patiala will organize an international conference
where researches, experts, and policy makers from
many countries get together to address issues of
common interest and concern for the "Global
Business". The conference is expected to provide indepth
discussions on related aspects, including

Hospitality Management, Economic Integration in
Asia. Altogether, we expect approximately 500
