TAKE ACTION - Four ways to build buzz for the People's Climate March this week!

The People's Climate March is just two weeks away!

We are so excited about all of the organizing that is happening all over the country, and the world!  As we gear up to the big day, I wanted to share a few important ways you can help with the last minute buzz building this week!

September 10th Mobilizing Meeting:

Tomorrow, September 10th from 6-8 pm we're holding our last NY Area Mobilizing Meeting to bring everyone together before our final surge towards the People's Climate March. Click here to RSVP for our final NY Area People's Climate March Mobilizing Meeting on Wednesday, September 10th.

Here are the details:

WHAT: NY Area-Wide Mobilizing Meeting
WHEN: Wednesday, September 10th - 6 pm to 8 pm
WHERE: NY Society for Ethical Culture, 2 West 64th Street in Manhattan (just off Central Park West)

This is your chance to make sure you and/or your group are plugged into the final mobilizing efforts, get the most up-to-date information about the exciting plans for the march, and pick up leaflets, posters, stickers and other material to help get the word out. Click here to RSVP.

September 12th Visibility Day of Action in New York City and around the Country!

This Friday we are planning to hit every subway in New York City to get the word out about The People's Climate March, and we are planning 5 really FUN buzz building actions.  Join us for a:

• Culture Jam at MOMA
  
• Ride on the Staten Island Ferry with the Statue of Liberty PCM Puppets!
• Parade through Manhattan with the Rude Mechanical Orchestra
• Light Brigade Action on the Brooklyn Bridge
• Culture Jam at the Guggenheim

We have secured Neighborhood Action Centers all across New York City so folks don't have to travel to midtown Manhattan to pick up outreach supplies!
