Dear fellow PCI Psychology enthusiasts,

I'm thrilled to be able to share the first update on PCI Psychology's progress!

Current progress and Updates

In January, we finalized a group of founders for PCI Psychology: Moin Syed, Jennifer Tackett, Rich Lucas, and Chris Chambers have all agreed to join me in leading the initial effort of getting PCI Psychology up and running. Together, we've been working on drafting a proposal to the PCI board outlining the basis for PCI Psychology. We plan to submit it within the next few weeks.

To strengthen our proposal, we are seeking people who are willing to formally express their interest in participating in PCI Psychology once it is set up. Currently, this includes becoming a recommender, being considered for a position on the managing board, and signing up to review PCIP manuscripts. This information will be included in the proposal to show community support and the breadth of the available expertise PCIP will be able to rely on. To add your name, please fill out this form no later than March 31st:

Next Steps

After the proposal is submitted, we will begin to draft editorial policies for the new PCI. We're excited to get input from the psychology community during this process, so make sure to keep an eye out for these updates to stay in the loop!
