Dear PCI Enthusiasts,
After several months of work, we are finally ready to share a preliminary draft of PCI Psych's editorial policies! We've tried our best to incorporate the ideas and preferences the community put forth during our initial hackathon, and prioritize rigor and transparency while still being inclusive of different types of scholarship.
Below, you will find the link to a document where you will be able to add comments and suggest edits, as well as respond to others' comments and edits. For this first round of comments, we ask that you prioritize higher level/conceptual feedback — although if you spot a typo, we want to know about that too!
To make it easier for us to incorporate all the comments, we will open the document for suggestions and discussion multiple times: it'll stay open for a week, then we will close it to incorporate the edits, then open it up again, and so on. We will send out an email through this mailing list each time. The first feedback window is Oct 9-16, and we expect the next one to be Oct 30-Nov 6. Please feel free to contribute when/if these windows coincide with your availability.
PCI Psychology Editorial Policy Draft (for Feedback)
We are still working on guides for recommenders, authors, and reviewers, so stay tuned for those documents in the near future!
Best,
