Just signed up for New Year’s Day. Looking forward to it. 

Heads up for the small portion going through downtown Ventura, Main Street (mile 33). This is a car free section and was recently closed off to bikes as well. There was some controversy this summer with fast e-bikes and the city banned all wheeled transport with threat of fines. 

I get the impression they are not actively enforcing this, but I’d hate to tell you the wrong thing. 

It’s a short distance so you can easily walk your bike or detour around it.

Good point. I did a ride through the area earlier this month. We detoured to Santa Clara St., one block to the south.
