02 June 2009 – The Consulate General of the Republic of the Philippines in Jeddah would like to invite all Overseas Filipino Workers residing in the Western Region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to join in the celebration of the 111th Anniversary of the Philippine Independence by participating in the remaining scheduled activities jointly organized by the Consulate General and the accredited Filipino community organizations in the Western Region starting this Thursday, 11 June 2009 until 25 June 2009 at the PCG Compound as part of the month long celebration of said festivity:

The office of the Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia includes various sections and attached services. Services to the public are performed by the Consular Section, the Assistance to Nationals Section, the Philippine Overseas Labor Office which includes the Labor Attache and Welfare Officers, and the Philippine Trade and Investment Center. Consul General Ezzedin Tago assumed in Jeddah on 22 December 2007. He is a career Foreign Service Officer (FSO Class I) who has been with the DFA since 1995. In September 1994, he graduated with the degree of Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Davis.
