YRUU Letter to the PCD Board

Dear PCD YRUU,

We, PCD YRUU Council, are sending you the attached letter in the spirit of accessibility and transparency, this letter has also been sent to the PCD board. Recently, the decision to change PCD YRUU’s age range was made--without our consultation--and the implementation process started. We believe that an open and inclusive conversation on whether or not this change is needed is necessary for the maintenance of right relations within our wider faith community, and we request a meeting with the PCD Board. In the letter we provide a summary of events from our perspective, as well as reasons why a deeper conversation surrounding the age range is necessary--with the full knowledge that there are other participants and perspectives, and that there may be additional factors that remain unknown to us.
