Hello everyone,

It's time to register for Elections Con, CONtents! The Con is February 15-18 at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Santa Cruz County in Aptos, CA.

To register, please email me at regi...@pcdyruu.org, with your namecongregation affiliation (if any), dietary preference (vegan, vegetarian, omnivore), whether you ever attended MUUGS (Middle School Unitarian Universalist Gatherings), and whether or not you have a sleeping bag rated to at least 40 degrees Fahrenheit. If you register by Januray 25th, you will receive a $10 discount off of the registration price of $50. The registration deadline is February 10th (the Sunday before the con!). Late registrants after February 10th will be turned away as there late registration is no longer accepted. We have been receiving a huge amount of interest in cons and our community is constantly growing. Elections Con is different from our other conferences in that it is a time for us to elect new members to council, our governing body. As it is a time for elections, this con does fill up fast, so register on time!

Please bring a filled out registration form, medical release and signed covenant to the Conference along with the appropriate amount of money. If you do not bring a signed medical release form to the conference, you will be turned away.

I will have a few extra registration forms with me at the conference but there are a limited number of forms I am able to bring with me, so please do not plan to fill them out at the con. Save paper and bring your own! The registration form and covenant can be found on our website, pcdyruu.org, attached to this email, or at this link: http://pcdyruu.org/wp-content/uploads/CONtents-Registration-Forms.pdf

Full and partial scholarships are available; so just let me know if you need one.

Due to space limitations at the church in Aptos, we will be sleeping in large tents outside on the church grounds. As it will be February, cold and potentially rainy weather should be expected. Please pack accordingly with extra warm clothes and maybe a towel.

~IMPORTANT~

Please also bring a sleeping bag rated to at least 40 degrees Fahrenheit.

If you do not have such a sleeping bag, check with friends to see if you can borrow one! If that doesn’t work, let me know and we will happily provide one for you, rented from a sporting goods store. If you elect to use a rented sleeping bag, please take good care of it.

Make sure to tell me in your registration email whether or not you have/can borrow one and if we should provide one for you.

If you have any additional questions feel free to contact me.

Thank you for joining our Google Group!

~IF YOU DON'T RECEIVE A "THANK YOU FOR REGISTERING" RESPONSE EMAIL
FROM ME, YOU'RE PROBABLY NOT REGISTERED. Check with me if you thought
you registered but got no response~

See you at the Con,
Phoebe Masterson-Eckart
