I was thinking about what materials new teachers might find useful as
they start up at MWIT. Perhaps in the Chulaporn Schools there are
similar issues from time to time. I would like to make a list of
things to use and then post it to this blog. Having been through this
only 6 months ago, several things are coming to mind as questions and
possible:

1) Where do I need to be and when? Teacher Weekly Schedule;
Department/School Meetings schedule
2) How can I find my rooms assigned for classes? Map of the Room
Numbers
3) Other teachers have clubs; What should I do about that? Club
Proposal submission form (for term 2)
4) What should I be teaching next term? Need Learning objectives for
their proficiency level (Cha Am Document); Course Syllabus/syllabi.
5) Who will I be preparing my classes with? List of Department
English Teachers, assignment to proficiency level.
6) What has been taught before?
7) How are students evaluated?
8) I've never taught gifted high school students before. Should I
know of some techniques other teachers have used successfully?
Teaching Methodology PPT, teaching resources locations, course books
9) I have ideas for using various types of equipment in class. Where
can I arrange that?
10) What are all the emails and phone numbers for all my colleagues
at the school? MWIT Planning Calendar Book 2009.
11) Who will I teach? Student lists
12) How shall I grade them? Student Evaluation Records

Help me out. What else?

Thank you, Don, all are good questions. Actually I'm compiling a
manual for new teachers. This manual will cover most topics you
proposed and include dos and don'ts for stay in Thailand and in MWITS.
