Dear colleagues and friends,
The upcoming 34th UNAIDS PCB meeting will hold a thematic session on “Addressing social and economic drivers of HIV through social protection”. This will be held onJuly 3, 2014 in Geneva, Switzerland. In preparation for this thematic session, the NGO Delegation to the PCB is actively engaged with the UNAIDS PCB Working Group to provide support and guide the development of the thematic session. Our support and guidance will include providing substantial inputs, especially in the development and finalization of the Background Note, the agenda and format of the session and identification of presenters/speakers. In order to effectively provide feedback, it is essential for the NGO Delegation to consult with its constituencies across all regions.
In this light, we invite you to participate in the first teleconference discussion to solicit inputs, suggestions and feedback on the proposed thematic session. This will be held on April 8, 2014, at 7pm, ICT (Bangkok time). To check your local time for this call, please click this Time Zone Converter.
Please, confirm your participation to ngo...@gmail.com no later than April 1, 2014. As the call can only accommodate a limited number of participants, we request you to confirm early. We will be sending the teleconference link with detailed instructions on how to participate in the call, as well as the agenda for the discussion, to our confirmed participants on April 3, 2014.
