Translating with PxJob for a beginner

Hello! 

I'm new with Px and PxJob. I'm trying to automate certain batch jobs that are currently done using PxEdit. 

One issue I've encountered when trying to follow the PxJob documentation is that I can't seem to get the translation job to work. 

The translation file is created, but after translating variable values I cannot transfer them back to the Px-file. I only get the message ": there is no translate file  or it is empty". 

Excerpt from logs (note that I have changed the actual path):
