In API only, there is now a new response format, JSON-stat version 2. This is same version that Eurostat offers. In json-stat2 the elements are also listed in a more logical order. Most json-stat libraries support both versions. See Configuration guide p.71.

Great stuff !

We have started to deploy the new version internally.

Had to delete the “_INDEX” directory in every file based database and regenerate them.

Now the API also works fine.

 

Nearly forgot … se over the logging settings if you have time

The default settings are not that good  …

If Px-web 2014 r2 works with your current database then 2019 will also work. Though you will have to migrate all your customization to the new version.

Can you give a feedback regarding the planning of the latest release of PxWeb 2019 v2 ? I think it was planned for the beginning of december right ?

Hi,

I am sorry that we haven’t communicated next release in this group, we only mentioned it at the meeting in Armenia. We have changed the released to a 2020 v1 release that will come in the end of January. The reason to this is that we decided to include more important fixes in the release.
