Set one .agg file as default

Hi, 

I was wondering how one can modify the "Select classification" dropdown menu. 

Instead of having as default "Select classification", how can I set one aggregation file by default, as in the example here "Totalindeks" as in the screenshot (taken from https://www.ssb.no/statbank/table/03013).

Hi,

If i go with the title “Set one .agg file as default” . Only the px-file based PxWeb databases use .agg files.

There is no way to make the file based px-web look like the database based px-web selection box default.

I suggest you add:
                             ELIMINATION("Sex")="Sex total";

This way if you don’t select anything from Sex you always get “Sex total”, but the variable is
eliminated because it is obvious (of course because it is a classificatory variable and an obvious total).
This can also be seen in the retrieved px-file. In the automatically generated TITLE=.
Population 31.12. by Year, Sex, Age and Information. PxWeb    (just an example)
In the file based PxWeb the full classification in the px-file will always be visible by default.

To make the agg and vs files use PxWin. There is a tutorial on this with the PxWin
documentation on SCB’s site.

And sorry for not being specific, yes I'm using -px, .vs, and .agg files. I manage to make them work properly.

I am using the classification to group Norwegian municipalities into counties, and I would like the default to be the 2024 structure, as in https://www.ssb.no/statbank/table/06913/

What you suggested with  ELIMINATION("Sex")="Sex total";  would mean that by default I could choose one municipality, or a country total if I create that level within municipality.

So in the file based PxWeb, there is no way to overrule the default "Select classification" showing the full classification?
