Hi all

When enabling the Api-V2 in PxWeb2023v1, the documentation says that you need to "set up a parallel web site for PxWebApi 2.0". Where should this web site point to, and what should be inserted as "URL root API-V2" in PxWeb Admin > Features > API?

Lets say I have a standard PxWeb running on ...

http://localhost/pxweb (the web site is pointing to c:\wwwroot\pxweb\)

I create a new new application in the IIS called "pxapi":

What will be the physical path for "pxapi" and "URL root API-V2"?

And are there other things you need to do, to make it work?

Anybody knows?

Hi,

The PxWebAPI 2.0 is a standalone application so it is correct that you should set it up on its own location/app/site.

In your case if the url to the api app is http://localhost/pxapi when "URL root API-V2" should be set to http://localhost/pxapi/api/v2 if I recall correctly.
This is only used for generating what the query looks like in the new API, i.e. the so-called API helper.

Kind regards
Petros
