Question about region selection

Hi,

We are currently setting up a new database based on px-files and PxEdit.

I have a question regarding this table from Statistics Sweden/SCB:s database:

In the first selection box, the user needs to select region as either "distrikt", "landskap", "landsdel" or "riket". No values are displayed until one of these levels has been selected. How is this functionality implemented?

Some of our larger data sets are hierarchical. We've been exploring the vs- and agg-files. Are these used in this case, or is there another keyword? Perhaps it's PARTITIONED?
