Indicator Species Analysis

Dear All

I am trying to perform a Indicator Species Analysis (ISA) using binary data (presence/absence) for riverine macroinvertebrates. I haven't made any progress. I have been following the PC-ORD demo but it's not helping much.

I strongly recommend reading the Getting Started section of the built-in Help system. Click on Help | Contents | Getting Started | Using PC-ORD. If you are new to PC-ORD I strongly recommend that you read the following sections: Introduction, Data Preparation, and Special Data Types (your binary data are one of these).

Once your data are ready to go, you can click on Groups | Indicator Species Analysis. If you are still uncertain about what to do, click on the Help button from within the ISA dialog and it will give you specific help on that topic.

You would probably also benefit from Jeri Peck's Step-by-Step book (at wildblueberrymedia.org), with detailed examples of many, many different kinds of analyses, including ISA.
