Hello,
I'm evaluating SVN for PowerBuilder 10.5, I have a similar problem to a
previous post:
We are currently migrating from MKS Integrity to SVN/TortoiseSVN and
evaluating PBSCC as the PowerBuilder interface. One issue that we
stumbled upon is that the PowerBuilder command "Show Differences" does
not seem to work with PBSCC. When using MKS, the user can check out an
object, modify it, then right-click the object name in System Tree or
Library Painter, select "Show Differences" in the popup menu, and see
the differences between the modified local copy and the version in the
repository. When using PBSCC, the opened window (TortoiseMerge) shows
no differences. I noticed that the window compares the file in the
working copy to the repository, but the file in the working copy does
not contain the changes done to the object (I can see them in the
export file in the PowerBuilder workplace folder). Apparently
something goes wrong: either the export file is supposed to be copied
to the working copy before comparison but it's not or the export file
from the workplace should be compared to the repository or something
else I cannot think of. I was wondering if anyone can tell me how this
can be solved.
Win7/PB12.5/PBSCC Proxy 2.01.80/TortoiseSVN 1.7
Best regards,
Konstantin
The resolution was : (Tortoise)SVN 1.7 clients are not supported by PBSCC
yet.
You should use (Tortoise)SVN 1.6.x with PBSCC
I tried installing TortoiseSVN 1.6.16 from
http://www.filehorse.com/download-tortoisesvn/8187/
After installing I get an error svn.exe not found
What was the resolution for this problem.
Many Thanks,
Ranj.
