Can one specify sampled SPD for light sources?

Hi,
Is it possible (and how) to specify sampled SPD values for a light source (e.g. projector) like it is done for materials : 
"spectrum Kd" [ 300 .3 400 .6 410 .65 415 .8 500 .2 600 .1 ]

Or the above would require to hack light source code?

Yes. It's the same syntax. Just specify e.g. "spectrum I" [ ... ] for a point light, "spectrum L" [ ... ] for an area light, etc.
