Please let me know if you were unable to locate a low-cost or free option in your area. If you weren't able to locate a free program but one that is low-cost, we will need the cost estimate along with the contact information for the clinic. We are only able to pay the clinic directly so it is important that we have all the information prior to proceeding.

Hi, Jasmine. Sorry you're having difficulties. We're not able to help fund any surgery for the day (2/5) that you're getting Creole's shots, but I am happy to try and help find a place where could get him neutered some other day.
You mentioned that the places below will not neuter a pit bull. Most folks are all too eager to neuter pit bulls, so I could use some more clarification. Did you call all of the places I listed below and they were all booked solid, couldn't help you due to where you lived or what specifically was the reason?

I am pleased to inform you that PBRC is able to donate $150 towards Creole's surgery.
Per our earlier email, you will need to reschedule the appointment to a date later than the 2/22 date. See below for timeslines but in short if we are paying via phone we need it to be a week out and by mail two weeks out. Please send me the below and we will make payment arrangements.
Keep in mind that we can only make payment directly to the veterinarian's office. Our approval is contingent upon you completing of the following:

- Please check with the clinic to determine if it will accept a credit card payment over the phone the day of surgery. Please give us one week advance notice of the appointment. - If the clinic will only accept a check, please send us the full address and contact name to attention the check to. Please allow PBRC a minimum of two weeks prior to your appointment so the clinic will be sure to receive the check in time for surgery.
- Please confirm the person's name on the appointment/account at the vet's office.
- Please let us know if there is a contact person we should speak to on the day of surgery.
- Please notify us immediately if any information changes. Failure to notify us could result in a disqualification of assistance.
This offer of assistance expires 3 months from now on 5/19/11

Could use your input on this one. This lady was previously approved for $150 on 2/19 and is just now scheduling the appointment. I've told her repeatedly that we need a week's notice for a credit card payment. She has scheduled an appointment for 3/17 (Thursday), which is just 5 days notice and she says that she already put down a deposit and it's hard to schedule a week in advance, etc. She's been difficult to deal with (probably a total of 40 emails back and forth) and part of me just wants us to be done with her and get her dog fixed, but she hasn't given a week's notice so I am not sure if we can even pay this or not. Also, she says the clinic wants our # to call the morning of the surgery for payment info (from other emails, I can tell them we will pay by end of day and see if that works - if we can even make this date).
