Dear Councilors & Advocates,

The Portland Bicycle & Pedestrian Advisory Committee would like to invite you to attend a summer evening ride with some of Portland's city councilors & Bicycle & Pedestrian Advocates.

We'll leave at 5:30 from the steps of city hall, on Wednesday the 29th of June.

We'll be riding a loop around the peninsula, & discussing planned and potential improvements & connections to that loop, in addition to enjoying some recent improvements!

This time we'll be endeavoring to keep the route as beginner friendly as possible & the route will be fairly flat, so even if you're not a bicycle commuter & don't ride all that frequently, you should be very welcome. We've invited the Portland Bike Party, and will be riding at a leisurely "Party Pace".

Please reach out if you need to borrow a bicycle for the event- even an e-bike might be possible!

Sorry for the short notice, but hopefully some of you can make it!

I can't imagine we'll be out past 8, but you might want to bring lights just in case, for the ride home, and a water bottle, as it will be 71 when we start.
