Unitil closure of the bike path on Tukey's Bridge is a bad idea

Mayor Dion and Councilors,
I am afraid that Unitil's absence of a plan to accommodate bicycles and pedestrians will lead to a dangerous situation and expose the city to liability if there is an injury or death. It is simply unconscionable to expect that people will detour miles out of their way to go a distance of less than a quarter mile. It will not be difficult to construct a temporary (or even permanent) bike-ped lane of the bridge.
