Driver retesting subcommittee

Hello, PBPAC and WSMAC,

At recent meetings of both of our groups, we have discussed the question of whether drivers should be retested more frequently than they are, and whether to ultimately propose this in legislation. I agreed to convene a subcommittee to look into this. I think the first task is a lot of research of what the exact requirements are currently, as well as what other states do.

Here is a poll to see what times work for you next week and the weekend after. Please choose some times if you are interested in participating, and forward the invite to others not on this list who may be interested as well. Feel free to also reply to this thread to discuss further.

I'm assuming a Zoom meeting, but let me know if Zoom is difficult for you. Also, I no longer have easy access to a paid Zoom account, so in practice it will be limited to 40 minutes on my free account. If you have a paid account and are willing to host, that would be great.

This really interests me, so I'll do my best to attend, but I don't drive- If you're interested in this subject, it would definitely be good to have folks who have familiarity with the status quo!
