I-295 is such an integral part of the Portland Penisula–indeed its defining feature–that many people forget that the structure is less than 50 years old. Our panel of historians, architects, engineers, and thought leaders will consider the highways troublesome beginnings, present utility, uncertain tomorrow, and visions for a post-highway future.
