I recently took the Breeze bus )for the first time) from Thompsons Point to Freeport. It cost $4 and was in schedule.
I did have a couple of qualms about the rider environment:
1. The T-Point bus shelter was one of those artist shelters. While the art may make an impression to passers by I don’t think it enhances the experience of those sitting in the shelter (it felt a little like being in a spider web).
2. The artwork’s text and information about the art/artist was on clear decals that faced out from the shelter, such that anyone waiting inside (which is the purpose for having a shelter) is obliged to read it backwards.
3. The bus itself is covered in decals much of them are clear. However, these clear decals made the outside look blurry (like wearing someone else’s eyeglasses) such that it was hard to read road signs or enjoy the scenery.
I’d have to take more bus trips but I am beginning to see a pattern with their user experience.
Thanks
Zack
