Libbytown Safety Project SS4A Implementation Grant App (5-13-2026 S&T Agenda)

The Sustainability and Transportation Committee met yesterday and their meeting seemed to have been missed by us.  There were three Bike Ped related items on the agenda.  The first being a Libbytown Safety Project SS4A Implementation Grant Application.  For those not familar, this slide provides an overview of the project.

I will attach the orginal application description.

Attached is a staff memo and draft letter of recomendation.  

The committee endorsed a letter for the mayor to sign.

Interestingly, the letter contains these bullet points which virtually match the bullet points in our orginal letter. I don't know if we pulled ours from somehere or the city used ours. Someone needs to find out if our orginal letter is being used or do we need to submit a new one.  Kevin Kraft is the lead on this.
