Volunteer Opportunity: Commercial Street demo project build Sunday July 26th

Hi folks, 

The Bicycle Coalition of Maine is looking for Volunteers to help with the Commercial Street demonstration project, which we had some input on and should hopefully make Commercial street a little safer over the summer:

The project will aim to improve pedestrian crossing safety, improve visibility of all modes, provide dedicated space for vehicle loading, and create lively placemaking features along one of Maine’s most high-profile corridors.

We are looking for volunteers to help paint and install placemaking elements on Sunday, July 26 between 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. with a rain date of Tuesday, July 28 between 4:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Please indicate your availability and role preference below. We will do our best to offer preferred roles, but please come prepared to adapt. We are open to kids (ages 8+) who want to attend the mural painting with parents or guardians.
