I am using a G4 with OS 9.2.1 with no problems. I have an SMC Barricade
router which handles the PPPOE connection. It is FAR more reliable than
the software solutions I have tried.

PBI uses Enternet 300 to establish the PPPOE connection. I have not had
to use it since buying the Barricade. The connectivity problems I was
having on a fairly regular basis completely disappeared when I switched
to the Barricade router and got rid of the Enternet software.

The Westell Wirespeed modem will work fine with a Mac.

Hope this helps.

Where were you pointed before? What software was being suggested? Was it
EnterNet related, and if so, what version?
