What this group is about: This is a group to advertise and promote
PBeM RPGs, especially those based on Google Groups. If you are a list
owner looking for more players or a player looking for an RPG,
hopefully this group will be a great resource.
Regulations:
1) All posts *are* moderated. This is to ensure that all posts are
either RPG Ads or questions about a placed RPG ad.
2) Subject line Format: In your topic subject line for an ad, include
the following:
RPG Name - Genre - Original or Based off of (Book/Movie/Comic/TV) -
Rating
Examples: "The Fluffy Bunny Game - Fantasy - Original - G" or...
"High School Daze - Modern, high school, drama - Original - PG" or...
"Living in Paradise - Historical, pirates, Carribean, fantasy - Based
off of the Pirates of the Carribean movies - PG-13"
3) Ad text: How much text is really up to you. Give as much or as
little information as you want to in order to elaborate on the subject
line description. There are only two requirements. First, all ads
must be suitable for PG audiences. Ads for mature/adult RPGs must
state both in the subject line and in the ad text that the RPG is for
mature audiences. Second, there must be a link to the group in
question. (How else will anyone be able to join?) You may want to
include a more detailed summary about the game and what's happened in
it, a request for certain types of players or characters, links to
appropriate non-group sites with more information, and/or a brief
outline of the game's significant rules.
Once you've read these rules, feel free to start your own advertising
thread. That's what it's all about, after all!
