Are you looking for a game where :
o Role-playing is valued above all
o The posting rate is high (daily)
o You know the game and/or GM won't disappear in a few weeks (we've
been running since 1995)
o EVERY player makes a difference (small group, usually six or seven,
and everyone is together most of the time, so no multiple threads that
don't involve your character. All threads in the game effect all
players)
o Players actively interact with each other
o Every game post is relevant
o New players are encouraged rather than ignored
o All the game information, including every post ever made, is freely
available on the game site?
If so, please visit our site and consider submitting a character. We
are looking for a committed role player who will bring in an
interesting character that can be woven into the long term storyline.
This is a dark fantasy game with much black humour populated by
interesting and flawed characters, played by experienced and friendly
players, who are motivated by genuine role playing.
Don't be put off by how long this group has been together - new
players will be made very welcome, and the group will be very
supportive. Virtually all posting issues were sorted out years ago,
and the group is very stable, so incoming players get to concentrate
on roleplaying rather than the game struggling to stay alive for the
first few months.
You can choose (and adapt/modify) a pregenerated character, generate a
brand new one or bring in an old favourite from another game.
Characters from virtually any gaming system (with the exception of
Super Hero types) can be modified to fit in with the game.
The game has comprehensive summaries and a FAQ, so new players can get
up to speed on the background very quickly. Furthermore, as this is a
small, high traffic group, EVERY player makes a difference, so the
other players will be as keen to make you part of the group as you
(hopefully!) will be to join it.
