Still Image associated with asset

Hi,

We're looking at using PBCore as the output standard from a new Media Asset Management system that we are currently implementing.  One of the requirements from the project is that users can upload a still image associated with an asset to the system, so that this provides a nice visual on the web interface.  For example a still image with an audio file or a still image to represent an assetType Series or Collection for television programmes.  How and where do we represent this in PBCore?  Do we need to use pbcoreExtension for this?  Does anyone has examples of how they've implemented this?  Any help or guidance would be very much appreciated.
