PBCore Working Group meeting at AMIA

Hi all,

We generally have an in-person PBCore working group meeting at the AMIA annual conference. However, last year, the attendees who met at AMIA decided it might be more fruitful to have a broader virtual meeting, which occurred in January. Before going ahead and scheduling a meeting for this year's AMIA, I wanted to get some thoughts from the userbase -- do people have strong opinions or preferences about having an in-person PBCore meeting at AMIA this year, or should we focus on scheduling an all-digital meeting in the New Year? Thank you so much for considering having a PBCore meeting outside of the AMIA Conference. Since I will not be attending the conference this year (unfortunately), I would really appreciate it being a meeting sometime in the new year!

Hi All,

Though I would be happy to chat with PBCore folks at AMIA, I agree that holding the meeting off-conference and virtual will allow more folks to attend.  I attended my first last year when it was held virtually and cannot be happier with the connections it helped to forge. I'm hopeful that others will have the same experience.
