I haven't actually tried this (I'm on Linux) so someone else may be able to give you better advice. That said, I've found cross-compiling Rust code for Windows on Linux to be quite easy, and I imagine you can take the same approach on macOS. rustup supports x86_64-pc-windows-gnu and x86_64-pc-windows-msvc targets; I found using them on Linux to be as easy as rustup target add x86_64-pc-windows-gnu followed by cargo build --target=x86_64-pc-windows-gnu, and I imagine the same would be true under macOS. I think you would probably need to install the MinGW cross-compiler, which you can do easily with brew install mingw-w64 if you have Homebrew installed. It might be possible that you could run into trouble with crates that package C dependencies if their build.rs scripts aren't written well enough, but if you have some experience with cross-compiling C you could probably work out any issues like that if you care to do so.
As an alternative to cross-compiling that may work for some projects, GitHub - japaric/trust: Travis CI and AppVeyor template to test your Rust crate on 5 architectures and publish binary releases of it for Linux, macOS and Windows has ready-made scripts for compiling Rust projects on multiple platforms (including Mac and Windows) using Travis CI and Appveyor.
I used to switch between the main windows of Teams Classic and e.g. a call (separate teams window) by using the "CMD + `" shortcut (german keyboard layout). This is not working with the new teams anymore. Instead it is used to zoom in now.
Based on the Microsoft document below, i can see this are known issues which has now been fixed in the new teams

Thank you very much for your email response, kindly carry out the action plan below and revert with an update. create a "Automations & Named Other Triggers" for MS Teams specifically that is triggered when "Specific App Did Activate" and selecting MS Teams as the specific app.
I have an M1 Mini (OS 14.3) with two monitors, and since I'm always working on multiple projects, each with its own folder, I keep Finder windows open for each of them, some on different desktops, some with a dedicated desktop of their own.
Recently, when the Mac's been sitting idle for any length of time (typically overnight, but not always), I'll find that all of the windows that pointed to folders in Dropbox are now showing the root directory (see attached pic.) I have to re-map all of the windows back to the DB folder they were originally displaying. This is a huge PITA, and forces me to keep a list of the projects that I'm trying to pay attention to. Rebooting, deleting plists, Safe Mode, and all the usual Mac Finder hacks have no effect.

The DB icon is present in the menu bar. If I terminate it in Activity Monitor, I can bring it back by re-launching the app. DB seems to be functioning normally; it's just the weird thing with folder windows reverting to root that's a problem.
The problem seems to have gone away on its own, at least for the time being. I made no deliberate changes to installed software or startup items, so all I can think of is an update that incidentally resolved the issue. OS is still Sonoma 14.4.1, build 23E224, which dates back to early March (which is when the problem appeared, fwiw) so that's not where the fix came from. I have no idea if DB got a tweak in recent weeks.
I did replace a cheapo Amazon ethernet cable with a quality cat 6 cable (vastly improving my internet speed) at about the time things cleared up . . . perhaps DB was getting borked by the lousy connection? (The cheap cable had been there for a long time, so \_(ツ)_/ )
@JPDemers Thanks for sharing your experience on this. I'm on a later Dropbox version than the one you reported, and I'm still seeing this issue, so I don't think Dropbox did anything to fix it. It might just be a rare bug. Did you find any way to backup the session windows for Finder? From what I can tell, Finder saves its state in the "Saved Application State" folder, but this folder is not backed up by Time Machine, so I can't use it to get back the lost window tabs.
Finder's "GO" menu has a "recent folders" option that might prove useful, but I don't know how it defines "recent"... i.e. whether a folder opened several days ago and simply left open will be "recent".
Hello Power Apps community! My name is DOM and I am new to Power Apps development. I currently only have experience with full stack web development on Linux and Macs and very unfamiliar with the Microsoft stack (especially .NET, nuget, Visual Studio).
It looks to me like Microsoft is moving in the direction of making things more cross-platform, retiring the Mac version of Visual Studio and committing resources to Power Platform tooling on VS Code, CLI, etc. So far, I've been able to do all my training exercises on my Mac dev environment without any issues compiling or deploying. The community tooling I've seen in tutorials, most of them look like they are Windows only tools but I don't know how relevant/useful/obsolete they are in 2023.
Yes, the community tooling is almost all windows-centric. None of it is absolutely essential, but there are a lot of big accelerators, like the XRM Toolbox, that might be a good reason to set up a dual-boot or VM. The CLI tooling cross-platform is good progress, but we do see issues here in the forum where Mac and Linux users hit walls (usually related to .net compiling: make sure .net is on PATH!).
Generally, yes, the tooling is becoming more and more accessible cross-platform but you will probably have difficulty from time to time, and this ProDev forum will be the place to go for help (though we too are mostly Windows folks, so be patient with us!)
