Your monthly FASTag statement is the detailed account of all the toll payments deducted from your FASTag account. In this statement, you will find details like the amount that has been deducted, the time when the amount was deducted and the tollbooth where the amount was deducted. If you check your FASTag statements regularly, you can easily keep track of your FASTag balance and recharge accordingly.

You do get a text message notification on your phone each time an amount is deducted from your FASTag account, however a bunch of text messages is not enough to keep track of the transactions. Thus, a FASTag statement comes in handy because it has all the details of your toll payments in one place.

The easiest way to download your FASTag statement is through the dedicated FASTag portal of your chosen bank. For ICICI Bank, you will have to download and register on the e-Toll app, which is their FASTag portal. After that, follow the given steps to download the statement:

Now that you know how to make FASTag payments and download the statement on your device, you might be wondering why you would want to download it at all? Well, downloading the statement and keeping it safe on your device has certain perks, such as:

When you make regular online payments, it might become difficult for you to track the amount and frequency of toll tax payments that you would have made. To keep track of such transactions, you need a FASTag statement.

A FASTag statement shows you the detailed list of transactions that you would have made across the toll plazas. The entire amount deducted from your linked prepaid wallet, and the specific toll booth where the payment was made, along with the time when the amount was deducted will all be listed in the FASTag statement in detail.

It is important for the users to keep a regular check on their FASTag statement so that they are aware of their regular travel (toll tax) expenses. Explained below are the steps of how you can download your FASTag statement on Paytm App-

How does the frequent driver discount work? The Toll Roads have introduced a new discount program for prepaid FasTrak accounts. Starting July 1, 2019, drivers with prepaid FasTrak accounts with The Toll Roads who spend $40 in tolls on The Toll Roads (State Routes 73, 133, 241 and 261) during a statement period receive $1 off every toll accumulated on The Toll Roads the following statement period. The $40 is calculated using the base toll rate (excluding discounts earned during the previous statement period).

"Ministry of Road Transport & Highways has mandated fitment of FASTag with effect from 1st January, 2021, in M and N categories of motor vehicles sold before 1st December, 2017," the ministry said in a statement on Thursday.

Googling suggests to turn off prepared statements, but I don't know how to do that in Go and I'm not sure it is supported at all. Any help (even a suggestion to use something else entirely) would be greatly appreciated.

Since PgBouncer 1.21.0 it now supports protocol level named prepared statements, which would almost certainly resolve this error. You can turn this support on by setting max_prepared_statements to a non-zero value in PgBouncer its config file. For details check the docs: _prepared_statements
