Bablu, a bubbly and childish young man, is an aspiring chef who always prays to God whenever he gets the chance. Manu, who is a very big gangster and an exact duplicate of Bablu, is meanwhile getting chased by the police. He eventually gets caught, but swiftly gets his way out of getting arrested.
One day, when Bablu takes Sonia out for lunch trying to express his feelings, he gets arrested after the police mistake him for Manu. Bablu is able to prove his true identity, but not before Manu hears of his duplicate. Bablu is given an identity card by the police, and goes home happily only to be met by Manu and his goons. Manu tries to kill Bablu and take his place, but Manu threatens him that they have to switch places if he wants him and his loved ones to survive, forcing Bablu to unwillingly accept.
"The problem is that it's also duplicate the maps." Can you provide more details about this point? If you copy/paste a layout in the Catalog pane, you should just get a duplicated layout, not duplicate maps.
For example, I had one layout called "Layout" and 2 maps in my project. The layout uses both maps. When I copy/paste the layout, I get "Layout1". My maps are not duplicated. So we need you to clarify what you're describing.
I'm trying to replicate it I can replicate it on some projects but not others, but frequently the Map will be duplicated along with the Layout, leading to several copies of the same map. I once ended up with 10 copies of the same map before I caught it.
Like you said, that clearly isn't intended behavior. So what I'd say about the unwanted duplicate maps part of the conversation is that you should update to ArcGIS Pro 2.8.3 (if possible) which is the current version of the software at this time. If you still experience that behavior, a bug would need to be logged with technical support.
Hi @MarcelSt-Germain I hope that you understood from my last post that what you and Alfred are seeing is not expected and would be considered a bug. I am not seeing that behavior when testing on 2.8.3 and daily builds of 2.9. This idea is about providing duplicate capability (in addition to the existing copy/paste). The issue that you're reporting about Maps in the project being unexpectedly copied will need to be addressed separately (i.e. investigated through technical support if you are already on 2.8.3 and still experiencing the behavior).
So their "implementation" is to not fix the issue, but tell you to export your raster function into a mosaic dataset? Huh. Well like I said I like that it duplicates the map when I copy a layout, so I guess I just need to keep a raster function in every map I have!

I have an employee that has a duplicate transaction that can't be deleted. I tried to add it to an expense report and submit it but that is when I knew it was a duplicate. I have tried acting as the employee and deleting the available expense but I get the error code: Your company does not allow card charges to be deleted. To remove card charges from Available Expenses, you can move them to a report and submit them as personal expenses.
@lyndall just to be sure I'm clear, the charge was a second charge for the same expense and should not have been charged to the user? If that is the case, the user should call the vendor that charged them a second time and have them reverse the second charge. Once the vendor reverses the second charge, the user should see a negative amount card charge come in. Add this and the duplicate to the same report so they will zero each other out. If the vendor won't reverse it, then the user should call the credit card issuer and contest the charge. The card issuer could then reverse the charge. Once that happens, have them add both the duplicate and credit to the same report.

I know that when you migrate a firewall into Panorama and you keep the Import device's shared objects into Panorama's shared context box checked, this imports the firewall's objects as shared objects, unless there are duplicates. I'm wondering--how does Panorama identify any duplicates? Is it by the name of the object or other characteristics (such as the IP address itself)?
For example: If I have an Address Object on one firewall called "Server-DNS" with IP 8.8.8.8 and an Address Object on a different firewall called "DNS-Server" with the same IP 8.8.8.8, will it identify that as a duplicate? I'm assuming not, since you are able to have multiple Address Objects with the same IP, but would like to verify.
I have imported multiple NGFW configs into Panorama, and the duplicates are always removed. I never thought about the specifics until now. Here is a doc that explains the process -> -1/panorama-admin/manage-firewalls/transition-a-firewall.... Look under the section "Plan how to manage shared settings." The rules are as follows:
Create a bare clone of the repository. Replace the example username with the name of the person or organization who owns the repository, and replace the example repository name with the name of the repository you'd like to duplicate.
In all or most of my folders, my file names are duplicated but with a period-underscore "._" appearing before each duplicate. The duplicates don't open to anything except "This file type can't be viewed".
Hi, I have the exact same problem. I'm using a Qnap NAS with cloud sync for my dropbox. when I save a file from my mac onto the NAS, duplicate files as described above appear. Even if I can safely delete them: how can I prevent the duplicate files to appear at the first place? Is it a problem of the NAS file system or an OS X problem? This is scaring me big time...!
Moodle does not provide a tool for duplicating an entire section, but you can use the Mass Actions tool to duplicate all (or selected) items into a new empty section. For details, see The Mass Actions Block in Moodle.
Use this function to duplicate complex structures, such as nested structures and queries. When you duplicate a CFC instance, the entire CFC contents is copied, including the values of the variables in the this scope at the time you call the Duplicate function. Thereafter, the two CFC instances are independent, and changes to one copy, for example by calling one of its functions, have no effect on the other copy.
Note: With this function, you cannot duplicate a COM, CORBA, or JAVA object returned from the cfobject tag or the CreateObject function. If an array element or structure field is a COM, CORBA, or JAVA object, you cannot duplicate the array or structure.
