There should be an option on your Xbox for community creations. I haven't launched the fallout games in a while to be sure exactly where, but there should be an option go there when you load in. I distinctly remember it on 4 and Skyrim bring right at the load screen.
That will get you curated mods. Because Bethesda are shiny happy people, some are paid. I don't know how much of the crazy stuff from PC transfers to console though. You most likely won't get like quests and super powers or expansions on console, but there should still be a bit of quality of life and cosmetic content.

once you launch the game there is an option called "mods" and you will log into the Bethesda page /w the same UN/PW as what you created the account, once you're logged in you choose to "download" from the website.
3. Sim settlements 2 - this is a whole DLC in 3 chapters, the characters are fully voiced. Basically in the first chapter you get introduced to a character who has a new tech that automates the ability to build new settlements, the inital levels walk you through how to do everything and as your settlements grow you gain the attention of some less scrupulous people who want to rain on your parade.
4. America rising 2 - brings the enclave back, i haven't started this one because I picked up a save where I had already beaten the game and this one introduces a whole new faction and gives you the opportunity to have a new ending with that faction so I will probably have to load a fresh game and add this mod.
There are dozens more out there, the xbox is hard coded at 2GB of mods loaded at any one point in time. so choose your mods carefully and recognize that you likely will have to enable/disable to experience the various different stories in the mods.
So far the only cost I have incurred besides a Microsoft game pass subscription is a $4 DLC to enable one of the mods and I have probably added 15 hours of unique content that has been fun and engaging.
With Nexus, often I've found I'll spend 2-3 hours downloading mods, getting them to boot in the right order, getting them to place nice with each other, Fallout will still crash, and I'll give up after a day or two. At least Wabbajack speeds that process up
I'm new to modding and Vortex so I'm sorry if this is a bad question or easy fix... I just installed Vortex, It identified my game, I added mods to my list but there is no launch button on the Fallout 4 Image. It's listed in my managed games under the games tab but I don't know how to launch it or how to fix it if I've done something wrong. My cursor is hovering over the Fallout 4 image, so a play arrow should be showing but it's not. Can somebody please point me in the right direction??
I have mods, plug ins, and save games, nothing in collections. I'm hovering over the fallout 4 image in the games tab under managed games. I have the options under the 3 dots in the right corner of the image that lets me open game files, etc but I do not have a start button, which I'm assuming should be in the very center of the image we are discussing

DELFIC produces fallout footprints on the ground by numerical integration, employing discrete cells in space, time and particle size. A new fallout prediction method is presented here which, unlike WSEG-10, does allow variations in activity with particle size, does account for fractionation and does model variable settling rates. This new model, like WSEG-10 but unlike DELFIC, computes in seconds or less. Some results are presented and compared to DELFIC and to WSEG results. Additionally, this new model will treat the far-field problem of interest in a massive strategic attack which cannot be easily done using DELFIC.

The mod devs that made outcasts and remnants also made some other cringy dated mods. Like one where the two main characters are Joker and Harley Quinn larpers circa 2016. I was foolishly expecting a story mod that would bring the lyon's pride back as Outcasts, and was met with a bunch of wierd ass soldiers in micro underwear hanging out at a pool while I get shitty fetch quests with the writer's barely disguised fetish all over everything.
It's always been that way, look at games in the 90s and 2000s, and the conventions all women wore scantily clad clothing, if triple A devs could do it they would, but the ESRB aint having that shit. Although sometimes it gets by (the recent Wolfenstein with that weird ass pregnancy fetish).
^^ frontier isn't the ONLY mod that's had those things. Talented fallout modders have a fork in the road. Either make really good groundbreaking mods, or make the most sheer degeneracy the community has seen up until that point.
