As you can see, the form contains a lot of fields. All of these need to be provided to allow you to log in. Email and password will be provided by your code. The rest of the fields actually have their values set by the HTML that Facebook serves you. This means, to emulate a browser login you need to perform the following steps:

login with facebook css

It works. mechanize.browser is emulated browser, so you don't need to send all form values. It will send them as normal browser, you should provide only login and password.

Good luck!

For all those who has the same issue, if you no longer want to log-in using facebook for your airbnb account, all you have to do is set a password. Go to www.airbnb.com/forgot_password. Just enter the email address on the airbnb account. A reset password link will be sent to that email and just follow through with the process.

1) The AirBnb help forum says that to remove this log in system, you need to log out and then go through the "forgot password" chain and then the issue would be resolved. However, sitting here on my work computer I don't even see that option. The only option I am given is to sign in through facebook. No forgot password link.

Your post is a bit confusing. I have the same problem. I want to be able to login with an email/password because logging in with FB is not possible using my work computer. Is it possible to login to the same Airbnb account using either FB, Google or email/password? If not how do I switch from using FB to email/password without signing up for a new account.

@Stephen10 Yes, ABB doesn't make it easy for contacting them. Here's a helpful link to help with contact. I don't know the answer to your question as I don't log in with FB, but I'm sure ABB will be able to help you.

On this same note I do not like any business on Facebook they have enough information about us already. I don't need them knowing what accounts I have and allowing me to log in anywhere with or through them

As far as I'm aware, Facebook don't actually block the new attempts from different IPs. Instead, they send an email to the registered email address with a notification that you logged into a new device, with a button to mark this as legitimate or malicious.

The tracking appears to work not only via your IP, but also a long-term identification cookie and other browser fingerprint data (e.g. user agent header) so that switching browsers or computers within the same network will still trigger it.

You can let your users authenticate with Firebase using their Facebook accountsby integrating Facebook Login into your app. You can integrate Facebook Logineither by using the Firebase SDK to carry out the sign-in flow, or by carryingout the Facebook Login flow manually and passing the resulting access token toFirebase.

If you are building a web app, the easiest way to authenticate your userswith Firebase using their Facebook accounts is to handle the sign-in flow withthe Firebase JavaScript SDK. (If you want to authenticate a user in Node.jsor other non-browser environment, you must handle the sign-in flow manually.)

If you enabled the One account per email address setting in the Firebase console, when a user tries to sign in a to a provider (such as Facebook) with an email that alreadyexists for another Firebase user's provider (such as Google), the errorauth/account-exists-with-different-credential is thrown along with anAuthCredential object (Facebook access token). To complete the sign in to theintended provider, the user has to sign first to the existing provider (Google) and then link to theformer AuthCredential (Facebook access token).

I was also getting a secure connection failed, both in Safari and Firefox. I use Sophos and some limits on what kind of web pages my computer could access. When I took these off, I could connect to facebook with both browsers.

This is driving me nuts....I want to set up Spotify on my SmartTV. When I try, it asks me for my username and password. Since I login to Spotify through Facebook, I can't give the SmartTV a username and password.

I already have a premium account so I don't want to close the spotify account, lose all my playlists, etc. I can't believe there isn't a way to log into Spotify without using my Facebook account. That's just wierd!

How do I set up Spotify on my SmartTV if I don't have a password for my "Spotify (ten digit #) username" and I can't use my Facebook account to set it up on the SmartTV because it requires a Spotify username and Spotify password, not a facebook account???

I am really frustrated to face the login bug. There are many mentions on the internet of the "login loop" and you still haven't fixed it. Everywhere it says that support should unmerge the oculus and facebook accounts so that they can be apparently merged again but properly...
my email is ???????????????? - for both Oculus and Facebook
the S/N (or order number) for Quest 2 is ID: ?????????????????????

TBH I have done a clean clean reboot of my PC. Like reinstalled windows reboot. And I still have an issue with logging in. A multibillion $ company should rush a fix within a week. But still a year out.

Now, you should be able to login with Facebook and alert you to Submit for Login Review when users try to sign into your app. Follow the instructions there to make your app go live for full features and products. You can read more about App Review here.

Currently have a working web app with auth0 identity. I want to add social login FB, Google, Apple for the purposes of creating new account and logging into existing ones. The social account create process seems straight forward. My concern is should I create a way to leverage social login that will enable access to existing accounts in the event the email address is the same?

Is it acceptable or best practice that I only allow social login for new accounts being created using social login vs entering a password when creating an account? When an account has been created using a social login - should that user be able to self-service reset their password or are they restricted to using their social login? If they are not able to social login have they simply lost access to their account?

If you examine users created in your tenant using each method, social vs un/pw, you will see the user id: value changes. Users created with un/pw start with auth0, where facebook starts with facebook, apple with apple and google with google-oauth2.

Nextend Social Login seamlessly integrates with your existing WordPress login and registration form. Existing users can add or remove their social accounts at their WordPress profile page. A single user can attach as many social account as they want allowing them to log in with Facebook, Google or X (formerly Twitter).

Providers are the services which the visitors can use to register and log in to your site. Nextend Social Login allows your visitors to log in with their account from the most popular social networks: Facebook, Google and X (formerly Twitter).

Nextend Social Login Free version does not have BuddyPress specific settings and the login buttons will not appear there. However your users will still be able login and register at the normal WordPress login page. Then when logged in they can use every BuddyPress feature their current user role have access to.

Improvement: If there is a slow server or a poor internet connection, the redirect after the authentication with social login might take some time. During this time we will display a loading spinner, so the visitor will know that something is about to happen.

If you are unable to login to Facebook using vMix Social and have successfully been able to login the past, it may be possible reset your account so that it works again by following the steps below:
Step 1Login to your Facebook account in a web browser.

These days, it's common for users accessing websites and applications from a web browser to authenticate with social identity providers such as Google or Facebook. Offering social login as an option goes a long way toward improving user experience. In fact, in a recent survey, 86% of users reported being bothered by having to create new accounts on websites, and 77% said that "social login is a good solution that should be in any site."

On mobile devices, social identity providers usually have their own applications (e.g., Facebook, Twitter), and some of them actually provide the operating system (e.g., Google, Apple). In the latter cases, users can use single sign-on (SSO) with a native UI instead of reauthenticating in the browser. This makes for a cleaner, simpler user experience.

Auth0 already supports native login for Apple (Sign In with Apple), and we are excited to announce that we now support native login for Facebook as well. This allows for authentication using the identity of the user who is logged into the Facebook application installed on the device. Auth0 customers who implemented this flow immediately saw an improvement in how their users were able to authenticate with Facebook:

To help agents collaborate with their clients and stay productive even when they're not in front of their laptops, Compass provides iOS and Android apps. They've implemented login with Google, Facebook, and Apple to reduce friction for users. You can see the Facebook login experience in action below:

Based on the requirements described above, we collaborated with Facebook to design a solution that will let us authenticate Facebook users in native apps while complying with Apple's rules. The image below shows a high-level description of the flow:

You are only a few steps away from greatly simplifying how users log into your mobile applications. Check out our Android and Swift quickstart guides to learn how to integrate native login with Facebook using our updated Android SDK and Swift SDK.
