Very slow application with VPN

Hello,

I have a problem of extreme slowness with a Java application deployed on a server with Payara Community 4.1.1.171 build 137 over RMI/IIOP, when client computers run it from outside the office, connecting to the corporate VPN:

- The application on the local network has excellent performance.

- Other applications, accesses, file transfer connected through the same VPN work correctly.

We have performed different tests with the port forwarding used by the Payara server, introducing rules in the firewall, temporarily disabling the antivirus, but the result is the same.

Do you know of any performance problems connecting via VPN?
