Payara 171 and Healthcheck notifications

Hi there,

I am trying to set healthcheck notifications in Payara 171 and I notice that all notification are sent. I mean that I am receiving annoying notification for GOOD threshold that fill up my mailbox for example.

Is it possible to set Payara to send notifications only for warning or critical threshold?

this differs from health checker to health checker. GarbageCollector checker decides on the status according to the elapsed time, CpuUsage checker decides according to the CPU usage percentange. If your checker is the latter one, you can increase the thresholds on GOOD make it almost equal to WARNING in order to filter out the notifications. In the mean time, let's see what we can do for enabling a filter mechanism like this.

I followed you suggestions, but I receiving this kind of email message at every timeout:

CPUC:Health Check Result:[[status=FINE, message='CPU%: .12, Time CPU used: 700 milliseconds'']']


So, I think this message is not genrated by good health level.

Hi.

I'm facing the same issue.

Healthcheck is tuned like this :

CPUC  false    30    SECONDS  90                  80                 50  

But receiving notification even the %CPU is below 50%...

Running Payara Payara Server  4.1.2.174 #badassfish (build 192)
