Payara & Eclipse MicroProfile 1.2

Hi all

First of all, thanks for developing and supporting Payara ! It's a great Java EE replacement for our good old Glassfish

I have a quick question regarding Eclipse MicroProfile compatibility, I know that latest Payara version is compatible with Config 1.1, but is there any ETA for compatibility with the rest of MicroProfile 1.2 spec ? Meaning : Metrics, Health Check, Fault Tolerance, and/or JWT Propagation. I've been googling around but couldn't find the answer anywhere

We are very close to complete the implementation of Microprofile 1.2 and we plan to release it together with JavaEE 8 support in the next release Payara 5, which will be early next year. We’re very busy with integrating both Java EE 8 and Microprofile 1.2 and that's the reason why we haven't released full support for MP 1.2 yet.

 

Our Payara 5 prereleases already contain initial JavaEE 8 support and Microprofile should be available soon for preview.
