Hello,

I was wondering why Payara Server 5.183 is printing :

[fe80:0:0:0:80d7:00ff:f02a:844a]:4900 [development] [3.10.2] Retrying invocation: Invocation{op=com.hazelcast.internal.partition.operation.SafeStateCheckOperation{serviceN......

Is it right? I guess it supposed to be [production].

Thanks

Hi,

"development" is the name of the Data Grid Group. This is the default value for all domains, including the "production" domain. The reason is that in production, it's a good practice to change the name to a custom value so that your production Data Grid doesn't interfere with other Data Grids on the same network. This may easily happen if 2 different Data Grids share the same joining configuration. The most obvious example is if 2 Data Grids use the Multicast Joiner, which discovers all instances on the network. For more docs, see https://docs.payara.fish/documentation/payara-server/hazelcast/configuration.html and look up "Data Grid Group Name".
